Generoso’s Bovine Ska and Rocksteady Radio Show started at WMBR, 88.1 FM in Cambridge in June of 1996 on Tuesday nights and in 2015, the show, still broadcasting on Tuesdays, relocated to Los Angeles  and airs on MIXCLOUD.  The show features rare vinyl recordings from Jamaica from 1955-1975.   On 5/1/2016, we decided to open up a separate site for all things Bovine Ska! While radio show posts will continue to be displayed here, BOVINESKA.COM will also have extra content collected over the 20 year life of the radio show including links to previous shows, photos of guests including, Derrick Morgan, Laurel Aitken, to Justin Hinds who graced our program, and notes about each show.
